By accessing or using VYOChat — including the iOS app, Android app, browser extension, and the web interface at chat.vyochain.com — you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use VYOChat. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and VALYGO Labs LLC ("VALYGO", "we", "us", or "our").
You must be at least 18 years old to use VYOChat. By using the service you confirm that you are not located in, or a citizen or resident of, any country subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by OFAC, the UN, the EU, or the UK — including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and certain regions of Ukraine — and that you are not named on any sanctions or prohibited-persons list.
VYOChat has no traditional user accounts. Your identity is your blockchain wallet address. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and seed phrase. VALYGO will never ask for your private key or seed phrase under any circumstances.
⚠️ Your wallet is your identity. If you lose access to your wallet, VALYGO cannot recover your account, your messages, or your .vyo domain. You bear full responsibility for wallet custody.
Sending messages on VYOChat requires you to maintain a minimum VYO token balance in your connected wallet. This balance gate prevents spam at the protocol level. VALYGO may adjust the minimum threshold with reasonable notice. VYO is verified on-chain at the time of messaging — VALYGO does not custody VYO on your behalf.
VYOChat provides end-to-end encrypted messaging. Messages are encrypted with keys derived from your wallet — VALYGO cannot read your message content. VYOChat is provided "as is" and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time.
You own your messages. Because VYOChat uses end-to-end encryption, VALYGO does not access, store, or process the content of your private messages. You are solely responsible for any content you send via VYOChat. By using VYOChat, you grant VALYGO a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your wallet address and on-chain identity data solely as necessary to provide the service.
You agree not to use VYOChat to send spam or bulk messages; distribute malware or phishing content; harass or threaten any person; impersonate another wallet address or entity; facilitate any illegal activity; bypass the VYO balance gate; reverse-engineer proprietary technology; or interfere with VYOChat or VYOChain infrastructure.
Domains registered through the VYODomain registry on nftchain expire at the end of the paid registration period. VALYGO may revoke a .vyo domain used in violation of these Terms. Domain registration fees are non-refundable. Short domains (1–3 characters) require an additional approval process.
VYOCHAT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. VALYGO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. YOUR USE OF VYOCHAT IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. VALYGO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF MESSAGES SENT BETWEEN USERS, LOSS OF FUNDS RESULTING FROM WALLET COMPROMISE, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS ON THE ENCRYPTED MESSAGING NETWORK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VALYGO LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS NOT PERMITTED, VALYGO'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID VALYGO IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS, OR (b) USD $100.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nevis, Saint Kitts-Nevis.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on our official channels and posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of VYOChat after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

VALYGO Labs LLC operates VYOChat. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. We are committed to minimal data collection and maximum transparency.
🔐 VYOChat uses end-to-end encryption. We cannot read your messages. Your message content is encrypted with keys derived from your wallet and stored on the encrypted messaging network, not by VALYGO.
On-Chain Data (public by nature): Your wallet address, on-chain transactions, .vyo domain registrations, and VYO token balance are publicly visible on the VYOChain blockchain. VALYGO does not control the public nature of blockchain data.
Identity Data You Provide: Your wallet address (required to use the service) and your .vyo domain name if registered.
Technical Data: Device type, OS, and app version; IP address (temporary, for rate limiting — not stored persistently); anonymised crash reports (opt-in); session timestamps.
Message Content — What We Do Not Collect: We do not collect, store, process, or have access to the content of your messages. All messages are E2E encrypted using end-to-end encryption. VALYGO has no technical ability to decrypt message content.
VYOChat uses the open encrypted messaging protocol. Messages are encrypted client-side before transmission. Encrypted data is stored on the encrypted messaging network. Only your wallet and the recipient's wallet can decrypt messages. The protocol's own privacy policy governs their storage of encrypted ciphertext.
We do not sell your data. We share personal data only with: infrastructure service providers (under data processing agreements); law enforcement or regulators when required by law; or parties in a business transfer (with reasonable notice to users).
Technical logs and session records are retained for a maximum of 90 days unless required by law to retain longer. On-chain data is permanent by nature.
VYOChat does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers. The web interface at chat.vyochain.com may use strictly necessary session cookies only. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioural tracking platform.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. Note that on-chain data cannot be deleted — this is a technical constraint of blockchain architecture.
VYOChat is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact [email protected].

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use VYOChat. It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your access.
Spam and Unsolicited Communications: Sending bulk, mass, or unsolicited messages; using automated scripts or bots to send messages at scale; repeatedly sending the same or similar content to multiple recipients.
Illegal Content and Activities: Any activity illegal under applicable law; sharing, soliciting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM — this results in an immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement); facilitating money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion; transmitting stolen data, hacked credentials, or malware.
Fraud and Deception: Impersonating any person, organisation, wallet address, or VALYGO entity; sending phishing messages to steal wallet credentials or seed phrases; promoting fraudulent projects, rug pulls, or investment scams; facilitating any form of financial fraud.
Harassment and Harmful Content: Harassing, threatening, stalking, or intimidating any person; sending content designed to harm or terrorise; engaging in coordinated abuse campaigns; sharing non-consensual intimate imagery.
Platform Abuse: Bypassing or circumventing the VYO balance gate; exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities (please report to [email protected] responsibly instead); disrupting or DDoS-ing VYOChat infrastructure.
Users must not temporarily borrow, flash-loan, or artificially inflate their VYO balance to pass the gate before transferring it out; coordinate to share a balance across multiple wallets; or use smart contracts to simulate a qualifying balance without genuinely holding VYO.
Registered .vyo domains must not be registered in bad faith to block legitimate users; impersonate well-known individuals, brands, or VALYGO itself; be used to direct others to phishing sites or harmful content; or be transferred or sold in ways that violate VYODomain terms.
VALYGO reserves the right to enforce this AUP through warnings, temporary suspension, permanent bans, and referral to law enforcement where conduct is illegal.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags.
VYOChat is designed with privacy first. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics platforms, or any third-party cookies that follow you across the web. The only data we store locally is what is strictly necessary for the application to function.
🔒 We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioural tracking technology. No third party receives data about your browsing through VYOChat.
Strictly Necessary (Session): When you use the web interface at chat.vyochain.com, a session identifier is stored temporarily to maintain your connection. This is deleted when you close your browser tab. No personal data is linked to this identifier beyond your current session.
Wallet Connection State: If you connect your wallet, a flag is stored in your browser's local storage to remember the connection type (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) across page refreshes. This data stays on your device — it is never sent to our servers.
Cookie Consent Preference: Once you interact with the cookie banner on this site, your choice (Accept or Decline) is stored locally so we don't ask again. This is a single boolean value stored on your device only.
Theme / UI Preference: If you change display settings, these may be stored locally so your preference is remembered on your next visit. No personal data is involved.
The VYOChat iOS app, Android app, and browser extensions do not use cookies at all. They use the device's secure storage APIs (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore, browser extension storage) to store wallet connection state. This storage is sandboxed to the app and never accessible to other apps or websites.
Because we only use strictly necessary and locally-stored data, there is very little to opt out of. You can:
VYOChat loads fonts from Google Fonts over HTTPS. Google may set its own cookies. If this is a concern, you can block requests to fonts.googleapis.com via a browser extension — VYOChat will fall back to system fonts. No other third-party services are loaded by VYOChat.
If we ever introduce new cookies or change our cookie use, we will update this policy and notify users through our official channels before the change takes effect.
